Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions Instruction of Delta College academic machine tool and cnc curriculum to dual enrolled high school students along with adult students in subjects of blue print reading, precision measuring, manual machining and cnc programming. Additional courses in CAD/ CAM may be available in future semesters. The applicant should have expertise in manual machining techniques including but not limited to manual milling, turning, grinding and sawing. Proficient use of computer and internet based software. Understanding of CNC programming (computer numerical control) and CAD/ CAM (computer aided design, computer aided machining). Applicant must be willing to attend activities related to promotion of program and follow school district policy regarding attendance guidelines, safety protocol and general employee conduct. Required Qualifications 5 years’ experience in Machine Tool Associates degree in related field Additional Experiences Considered - Bachelor’s degree in related field or education - Journeyman’s card in Machine Tool
