Job Description

My client recently opened a Periodontist position in their rapidly growing private practice. My client allows you to concentrate on your area of expertise, while others manage patient administrative paperwork and office staffing. They strive to hire great people from top to bottom, to ensure efficient flow of daily operations; from the reception area to dental assisting staff. Not only do you have the freedom to focus on the periodontal skills of dentistry, but you have control over treatment plans.

Dentist Responsibilities:

  • Create dental treatment plans and coordinate oral health care during patient consultations.
  • Specialize in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease (a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the gums and bone supporting the teeth also known as gum disease), and in the placement of dental implants
  • Adhere to all federal and government regulations, including the state dental board rules and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to clinical support staff in all areas of patient treatment.

Qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD degree and specialized training in periodontics
  • Previous experience preferred
