The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Unwind / Rewind Operator to inspect and rewind finished label products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. This role is critical to verifying product integrity, performing 100% visual inspections, and preparing finished jobs for shipment—particularly within regulated and pharmaceutical environments. The Unwind / Rewind Operator works safely, accurately, and efficiently while adhering to GMP and company procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate and operate the tabletop counter.
  • Conduct visual inspections of labels to identify defects.
  • Rewind and slit jobs according to specifications.
  • Splice rolls together using scissors and tape or a splicing table, following customer splicing requirements.
  • Set up and operate 100% visual inspection systems.
  • Prepare core labels, shipper labels, and Certificates of Compliance.
  • Follow pharmaceutical procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including required documentation.
  • Set up and operate back-numbering equipment.
  • Perform basic system and equipment maintenance.
  • Follow all safety rules and work efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and quality requirements.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills, including reading a ruler and performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
