  • Position will support Chief Scientific Officer.

  • Reporting to department physician leader(s) and administrator, responsible for facilitating project work by providing direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of department projects and initiatives.
  • Must coordinate department projects, formulate needed enhancements for processes, and work with internal and external customers to successfully meet established goals and deadlines
  • Coordinator must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in working independently to complete projects and assignments.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • One to three (1-3) years of project management/coordination experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with external and interdepartmental coordination of schedules, calendars, presentations, and events in a matrixed healthcare environment is strongly preferred
  • Coordinating experience of special projects is also a plus.
